Extension of a production unit within an existing factory. No small job: the extension had to cover an area of 4 x 17 metres. The Engineering department had to take account of the existing structure that needed to be broken open, altered and extended. This meant that half of the load bearing capacity of the structure must be taken up by the new foundation. As well as this, there was also a small transformer house that could not be removed.

No problem for our team! In cooperation with the contractors we have been successful in constructing a large solid hall that provides space for the larger machines and is ready for the future.

The client was very impressed with the result, as well as the appearance of the outside panels.

So much so that as a result of these alterations the client decided to have the same panelling fitted around the entire building; so also over the existing part that had not been altered.

This created one attractive elegant look and the entire building looks as new.
